Who: Kepala Satpol PP Kota Pekanbaru, Desheriyanto
When: Rabu (3/6/2026)
Where: Kota Pekanbaru
How: Dengan menegaskan bahwa para pedagang hanya diperbolehkan beraktivitas hingga pukul 07.00 WIB
Desheriyanto menegaskan, para pedagang hanya diperbolehkan beraktivitas hingga pukul 07.00 WIB.
According to Desheriyanto, based on field observations, many traders have not complied with the rules. Satpol PP found trading activities that lasted until 09.00 AM.
Desheriyanto stated that the presence of traders who sell beyond the operational hours often causes complaints from the public, especially road users passing through the area.
Satpol PP requested all traders to comply with the agreed rules to maintain order and comfort for everyone. The Pekanbaru City Government hopes that economic activities can continue without disrupting the function of the road as a public transportation facility.
If violations of the operational hour regulations are found, Satpol PP will coordinate with relevant government agencies to enforce regulations in a comprehensive manner.
Desheriyanto emphasized that their current focus is on enforcing rules related to operational hours or trading hours for traders in the Ahmad Yani Street area. The presence of the street market on Ahmad Yani Street has been a target for government enforcement several times. After enforcement actions, some traders return to the same location, making it an ongoing concern for the city government.
