Suhardiman Amby has officially been elected as the Chairman of the Pemuda Panca Marga (PPM) of Riau Province in the Regional Deliberation Meeting (Musda) held in Pekanbaru on Sunday (17/5/2026). He was elected by acclamation after being the sole candidate in the forum.
The Musda of PPM Riau was attended by the Central Board of PPM as well as the regency/city officials from across Riau Province. The election results received wide support from the large family of the organization that oversees the next generation of fighters and veterans.
The Chairman of the Central Board of PPM, Patriani Paramita Mulia, expressed her belief that Suhardiman Amby’s leadership will bring the organization towards a more advanced and solid direction. She assessed Suhardiman’s experience and capacity as crucial assets in developing PPM in Riau.
Support also came from the representatives of PPM Dumai City, Herman, who believed that Suhardiman has a complete background as a traditional figure, educator, and local leader who is close to the community. Similar sentiments were expressed by the officials of PPM Pekanbaru City, Ayu Lestari and Rahmad Ramdhani Yudistira, who are optimistic that the organization will grow stronger under the new leadership.
After being elected, Suhardiman Amby expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the trust given to him. He affirmed his commitment to expand the organization and uphold the spirit of struggle of the large family of fighters and veterans in Riau.
He also invited all officials at the regency and city levels to strengthen the solidarity of the organization and make PPM a platform that provides tangible contributions to the community.
The inauguration of the Chairman of PPM Riau is planned to be held in June 2026 in Teluk Kuantan with the presence of the Central Board of PPM.
