Bujang and Dara of Indragiri Hilir (Inhil) Regency for the year 2025 were officially crowned on the peak night held on Friday (18/7) evening. The selection of Tourism and Cultural Ambassadors was witnessed by Regent Herman, Chairwoman of Dekranasda Katerina Susanti Herman, and other related officials who enlivened the Engku Kelana Tembilahan Regional Building.
The Bujang Dara selection is a platform to search for the best Sons and Daughters who will become the icons of Indragiri Hilir Regency. Therefore, to the winners, Regent Herman hopes they can explore the region’s potential to be introduced more widely.
“I hope that the selected Bujang Dara can collaborate with the government to promote the developing tourism and cultural potentials in the region, and most importantly, to become a positive example for the community,” hoped Regent Herman.
Similar to the Regent’s hope, Chairwoman of Dekranasda Katerina Susanti Herman also invites the Bujang Dara of Inhil to preserve the pride products of Inhil.
“The potentials of Inhil region are diverse, including food, natural resources, and handicrafts produced by SMEs that need to be promoted. This is our common task to ensure the region’s characteristics continue to thrive,” said Katerina Susanti Herman.
In addition to the selection of Muthia Wulan Risyada as Dara Inhil and Diko Suwitra as Bujang Inhil 2025, another attention-grabbing moment for the audience was the fashion show presented by Regent Herman and Chairwoman of Dekranasda wearing traditional woven cloth and batik from Inhil.
