Luna Maya and Maxime Bouttier recently faced rumors of expecting twins. In response to the rumors, Maxime Bouttier, Luna’s husband, spoke up. Maxime expressed his confusion over the origin of the rumors and denied the claims of his wife being pregnant with twins.

“I don’t understand where the news is coming from,” Maxime Bouttier said with a smile during an encounter in Kemang, South Jakarta, on Sunday (13/7).

Maxime then concluded the interview with the media. While acknowledging the prayers and well wishes for Luna’s pregnancy, he requested the best wishes from the public.

“If many are praying for Luna to be pregnant, please pray for the best, thank you,” he added.

Luna Maya and Maxime Bouttier have been married for two months. Before tying the knot, Luna underwent egg freezing in 2021, a medical procedure to preserve a woman’s eggs by retrieving them from the ovaries, freezing them, and storing them for future use, especially for IVF (in vitro fertilization) pregnancy programs.

The wedding of Luna Maya and Maxime Bouttier took place on May 7, 2025, in Bali. They are planning to hold a reception in Jakarta in July 2025.
